Booking a Marriott hotel in Paris is more complicated than it sounds. Only three hotels in the city actually carry the Marriott name — but Marriott Bonvoy, the parent group, operates around 30 properties in and around Paris under a dozen different brands — from a 1929 Art Deco palace on Avenue George V at €900 a night to a Moxy near Bastille at €120.
This guide sorts them out: which brand sits at which price point, the addresses and rates, what each hotel is actually good for, and the two costs Bonvoy doesn’t show you upfront — the Paris tourist tax and the breakfast supplement.

The short version
- Best all-round Marriott in Paris: Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées — the location you’re paying for, and the brunch is a destination in itself.
- Best value Bonvoy stay: Renaissance Paris République (€250–450) — 5-star with a spa, in a neighbourhood you’ll actually want to walk around at night.
- Best value full stop: Courtyard Gare de Lyon or the Westin Vendôme — both sit clearly below the Paris median for their category.
- Cheapest way to earn Bonvoy points in Paris: Moxy Paris Bastille (€120–250) or Moxy La Villette, both well under half the price of anything else on this list.
- For a splurge: Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel (€850–1,400) — Art Deco, 1929, off the Champs-Élysées.
- Don’t forget: the Paris tourist tax adds €11.70 per person per night in a 5-star and €8.45 in a 4-star, paid at checkout.

Marriott Bonvoy brands in Paris, decoded
Bonvoy’s brand names mean very little to most travellers, which is exactly why people end up paying €600 for a room when a €250 one in the same programme would have suited them better. Here is what each brand actually is in Paris.
| Brand | Stars | Typical rate | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luxury Collection | 5★ | €850–1,400 | Historic palace-grade hotels. One in Paris: the Prince de Galles. |
| W Hotels | 5★ | €280–500 | Design-led, loud, young. Bar scene matters as much as the rooms. |
| Autograph Collection | 5★ | €280–750 | Independent hotels that kept their own identity. Very variable — judge each one. |
| Tribute Portfolio | 5★ | €350–600 | Same idea as Autograph, a notch less formal. |
| Marriott Hotels | 4–5★ | €200–800 | The flagship brand. Reliable, corporate, generous rooms by Paris standards. |
| Renaissance | 4–5★ | €180–500 | Upscale but less stiff. The best value tier in the group. |
| Westin / Le Méridien | 4★ | €150–550 | Large classic hotels, strong on location, weaker on personality. |
| Courtyard | 4★ | €130–330 | Built for business travel. Functional, near business districts. |
| AC Hotels | 4★ | €150–280 | European-designed, minimalist, mid-range. |
| Moxy | 3★ | €90–250 | Small rooms, big bar, low price. The budget entry to Bonvoy. |
What Paris hotels actually cost in 2026
For context, an analysis of 1,199 Paris hotels puts the median nightly rate for a double room at €192 across the city — €180 in a 3-star, €274 in a 4-star and €685 in a 5-star. Against that benchmark, most Bonvoy properties sit at or slightly below the market for their category; only the Prince de Galles is meaningfully above it.
About the rates on this page. Each hotel shows a typical range rather than a single figure, checked in September 2026 across several booking platforms. The low end is what you’ll find midweek in a soft month (January–February, late July, November); the high end is a weekend in high season. Prices can go well above the top of the range during Fashion Week, the Salon de l’Agriculture, Roland-Garros and the big trade fairs — and in June and September. Always check your own dates.
The three Marriott-branded hotels in Paris
Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées Hotel (8th)
The flagship, and the one most people mean when they search for a Marriott in Paris. It sits directly on the Champs-Élysées, which is both the reason to book it and the reason some guests don’t — the avenue is loud and relentlessly touristy. Inside, it is calm, polished and genuinely well run, and the rooms are large for central Paris.
Its Sunday brunch has a following of its own among Parisians, which is unusual for a chain hotel and a decent signal about the kitchen.
- 70 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris — +33 1 53 93 55 00
- Métro: Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1, 9) or George V (line 1)
- 5-star · fitness centre and sauna
- Rate: €450–800 (lowest deals around €450, executive rooms far higher)
- Guest rating: 8.5/10
- The trade-off: you pay a significant premium for the address, and several reviewers find the rooms dated for the price; the same money buys more space and quiet in the 9th or 1st.
Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel (9th)

A Haussmann building on Boulevard Haussmann itself, a few minutes from the Opéra Garnier and the Galeries Lafayette. This is the one to pick if you’re in Paris to shop, see a show, or use the Saint-Lazare and Opéra transport hubs — and it is consistently cheaper than the Champs-Élysées property for a very similar standard.
- 16 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris — +33 1 44 83 40 40
- Métro: Richelieu–Drouot (lines 8, 9) or Chaussée d’Antin–La Fayette (lines 7, 9)
- 4-star · fitness room
- Rate: €200–400, occasional deals below that
- Guest rating: 7.8/10 — the most uneven scores of the three
- The trade-off: Boulevard Haussmann is a major traffic artery — ask for a courtyard-facing room.
Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center (14th)

The largest of the three, near Denfert-Rochereau in the 14th, with a conference centre attached — which tells you who it is really built for. For tourists it is a solid, quiet base: RER B runs direct to Charles de Gaulle airport, Montparnasse is walkable, and the Catacombs are around the corner.
- 17 Boulevard Saint-Jacques, 75014 Paris — +33 1 40 78 79 80
- Métro: Saint-Jacques (line 6) · RER B at Denfert-Rochereau
- 4-star
- Rate: €200–350
- The trade-off: a business hotel in feel, and a 20-minute métro ride from the classic sights.
Luxury Collection, Autograph and Tribute Portfolio
This is where Bonvoy keeps its best Paris addresses — hotels that don’t carry the Marriott name and often predate the group by decades.
Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel (8th)

Opened in 1929 on Avenue George V, next door to the Four Seasons, the Prince de Galles is one of the few genuine Art Deco hotels left in Paris — the mosaic patio courtyard is a listed piece of design, not a renovation flourish. It is the most expensive Bonvoy property in the city and the only one that competes with the palaces on their own terms.
- 33 Avenue George V, 75008 Paris — +33 1 53 23 77 77
- Métro: George V (line 1) or Alma–Marceau (line 9)
- 5-star · spa and fitness centre
- Rate: €850–1,400 — the most expensive Bonvoy hotel in Paris by a wide margin
- Guest rating: 8.7/10, the highest in the portfolio
- Worth knowing: the bar and the brunch are open to non-guests — a cheaper way to see the Art Deco courtyard.
Le Roch Hotel & Spa (1st)

A small design hotel on a quiet street between the Louvre and Opéra, with an indoor pool and spa — rare at this size in the 1st arrondissement. It is the antidote to the big Bonvoy boxes: roughly 40 rooms, warm materials, and a level of quiet you don’t expect this centrally.
- 28 Rue Saint-Roch, 75001 Paris — +33 1 70 83 00 00
- Métro: Tuileries or Pyramides (lines 1, 7, 14)
- 5-star · pool, spa and gym
- Rate: €450–750
- The trade-off: small hotel, small rooms — the appeal is the atmosphere, not the square metres.
Hôtel de Nell (9th)

Tucked into a quiet street in the 9th, near the Grands Boulevards. Restrained, modern, wood-heavy design and an unusually attentive front desk for a hotel of this size. A strong choice if you want something that doesn’t feel like a chain at all.
- 9 Rue du Conservatoire, 75009 Paris — +33 1 44 83 83 60
- Métro: Bonne Nouvelle (lines 8, 9) or Grands Boulevards (lines 8, 9)
- 5-star · fitness room
- Rate: €400–650
The other upper-tier Bonvoy hotels
| Hotel | Brand | Address | Typical rate | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Westin Paris – Vendôme | Westin | 3 Rue de Castiglione, 75001 | €250–550 | Check rates |
| Le Dokhan’s Paris Arc de Triomphe | Tribute Portfolio | 117 Rue Lauriston, 75116 | €350–600 | Check rates |
| Hotel Banke | Autograph Collection | 20 Rue La Fayette, 75009 | €280–500 | Check rates |
| W Paris – Opéra | W Hotels | 4 Rue Meyerbeer, 75009 | €280–500 | Check rates |
| Le Méridien Paris Arc de Triomphe | Le Méridien | 81 Bd Gouvion-Saint-Cyr, 75017 | €150–320 | Check rates |
Three notes on this group. The Westin Paris – Vendôme has arguably the best position of any Bonvoy hotel in Paris — between Place Vendôme and the Tuileries — and it is the bargain of the upper tier: it typically runs around €345 a night against a €274 city-wide 4-star median, for an address that would cost twice that elsewhere. Rooms overlooking the garden justify the price in a way that its street-side rooms do not.
Le Méridien Etoile has been renamed Le Méridien Paris Arc de Triomphe — same hotel, same address by Porte Maillot. It is the cheapest way into a large upper-tier Bonvoy hotel, with rates that regularly dip under €160, but it sits by the convention centre, well outside the tourist core, and guest scores (7.9/10) are the weakest in this group. Don’t confuse it with the Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe, a different hotel a kilometre away.
Renaissance hotels in Paris
Renaissance is Bonvoy’s most consistently good-value tier in Paris: 4- and 5-star hotels with real facilities, at roughly half the rate of the Marriott-branded properties. If your priority is a comfortable, well-located stay rather than a name, start here.
| Hotel | Stars | Address | Facilities | Typical rate | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Renaissance Paris République | 5★ | 40 Rue René Boulanger, 75010 | Spa, fitness | €250–450 | Check rates |
| Renaissance Paris Vendôme | 5★ | 4 Rue du Mont Thabor, 75001 | Pool, spa, fitness | €280–500 | Check rates |
| Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadéro | 5★ | 55-57 Av. Raymond Poincaré, 75116 | Garden courtyard | €260–450 | Check rates |
| Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe | 5★ | 39 Avenue de Wagram, 75017 | Fitness | €230–400 | Check rates |
| Renaissance Paris La Défense | 4★ | 60 Cours Valmy, 92800 Puteaux | Fitness | €180–300 | Check rates |
Our pick: the République (8.3/10). It is the only one in a neighbourhood with genuine evening life — Canal Saint-Martin and the Marais are both walkable — and it has a spa. The Vendôme wins on address and has the pool, but read its reviews first: guests rate the location 9/10 and the room size and cleanliness far, far lower, which is a common pattern in converted Haussmann buildings in the 1st. Le Parc Trocadéro is the quietest and closest to the Eiffel Tower. La Défense is in Puteaux, outside Paris proper: book it for business, not for sightseeing.
Moxy and AC Hotels — the affordable Bonvoy options
Most Marriott guides to Paris stop at €250 a night, which leaves out the part of the portfolio that budget-conscious Bonvoy members actually use. Moxy is the group’s 3-star brand: small rooms, no bellhop, a bar that doubles as reception, and rates that undercut the rest of this list by a factor of three or four. Points and elite nights still count.
Moxy Paris Bastille (11th)
Between Bastille and the Marais, on a quiet street off Boulevard Richard-Lenoir. 185 compact rooms, a busy ground-floor bar, and one of the best-value central locations in the whole Bonvoy portfolio for Paris. If you plan to be out all day, this is the rational choice.
- 34-36 Rue Saint-Sabin, 75011 Paris — +33 1 43 38 58 08
- Métro: Bréguet–Sabin (line 5) or Bastille (lines 1, 5, 8)
- 3-star · €120–250 · guest rating 8.0/10 from over 1,400 reviews
- The trade-off: rooms are genuinely small and the bar is loud until late — not a hotel for a quiet weekend.
Moxy Paris La Villette (19th)
Next to the Parc de la Villette and the Cité des Sciences, with a métro station a minute away. Bigger and calmer than the Bastille property, with three food outlets including a steakhouse, and rooms that work for families and groups.
- 28 ter Avenue Corentin-Cariou, 75019 Paris — +33 1 44 72 15 30
- Métro: Corentin Cariou (line 7)
- 3-star · €100–220
- The trade-off: the 19th is a 20-minute ride from the centre; excellent for the Philharmonie and La Villette, less so for the Louvre.
The other budget and mid-range Bonvoy hotels
| Hotel | Brand | Location | Typical rate | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot | AC Hotels | 6 Rue Gustave Charpentier, 75017 | €150–280 | Check rates |
| Moxy Paris Clamart | Moxy | Clamart (92), south-west suburbs | €90–170 | Check rates |
| Moxy Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport | Moxy | Roissy CDG | €90–180 | Check rates |
| Moxy Paris Val d’Europe | Moxy | Near Disneyland Paris | €90–180 | Check rates |
Courtyard by Marriott in Paris
Courtyard was designed for business travel, which is why the Paris properties cluster around business districts rather than sights. That said, the Gare de Lyon one is a legitimate tourist option: it is in the 12th, on line 14, and considerably cheaper than anything comparable in the centre.
| Hotel | Address | Typical rate | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Courtyard Paris Gare de Lyon | 209-211 Rue de Bercy, 75012 Paris | €190–330 | Check rates |
| Courtyard Paris Arcueil | 6 Av. du Président Salvador Allende, 94110 Arcueil | €130–230 | Check rates |
| Courtyard Paris La Défense West – Colombes | 91 Bd Charles de Gaulle, 92700 Colombes | €130–230 | Check rates |
The Gare de Lyon property is the standout: it averages around €190 a night against a €274 city-wide 4-star median, scores 8.3/10 across more than 1,800 reviews, and guests rate its location 9.1/10. For a family or a short stay where you’ll be out all day, it is one of the better value-for-money propositions in central Paris, Bonvoy or not.

Booking tips, points and hidden costs
The Paris tourist tax is not in the room rate
Every guest over 18 pays a nightly taxe de séjour, collected at the hotel and almost never shown in the advertised price. In 2026 the Paris rates are:
| Hotel category | Per person, per night |
|---|---|
| Palace | €15.93 |
| 5-star | €11.70 |
| 4-star | €8.45 |
| 3-star | €5.53 |
| 2-star | €3.25 |
For two people over four nights in a 5-star Bonvoy hotel, that is €93.60 added at checkout. It is a real line in your budget, not a rounding error.
Breakfast is rarely included
Expect €30 to €45 per person at the upper-tier hotels. Bonvoy Platinum members and above get breakfast included at most brands in Europe — at those prices, elite status pays for itself quickly on a Paris trip. Moxy and Courtyard charge far less but the offer is correspondingly basic.
Using and earning Bonvoy points
Award pricing in Paris is dynamic and moves with cash rates, so the best redemptions appear in the soft months — February, late July and November. February is reliably the cheapest month of the year in Paris; January is deceptive, because Haute Couture and Men’s Fashion Week push rates in the 1st, 8th and 9th sharply upward for two separate weeks. The five-night award rule, where the cheapest night is free, is worth checking on longer stays. And because every brand on this page earns the same elite nights, a week at a Moxy counts exactly as much towards status as a week at the Prince de Galles.
Cancellation
Most Bonvoy hotels in Paris offer free cancellation up to 24 or 48 hours before arrival on flexible rates. Prepaid rates run roughly 10 to 20 % cheaper and are non-refundable — worth it only if your dates are certain. Always read the specific rate’s terms; they vary by property and by season.
Compare before you book direct
Booking direct with Marriott is the only way to earn points and nights, but it is not always the lowest cash price. If you’re not chasing status, compare a few platforms first — the gap on the same room can reach 20 %.
Frequently asked questions
How many Marriott hotels are there in Paris?
Only three carry the Marriott name: Champs-Élysées (8th), Opera Ambassador (9th) and Rive Gauche (14th). The wider Marriott Bonvoy group runs around 30 hotels in and around Paris under brands including Luxury Collection, Autograph, Tribute Portfolio, W, Westin, Le Méridien, Renaissance, Courtyard, AC Hotels and Moxy.
Which is the best Marriott hotel in Paris?
For the Marriott brand itself, the Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées — best location, largest rooms, best service. Across the whole Bonvoy portfolio, the Prince de Galles is the finest hotel (8.7/10) and the Renaissance Paris République the best value at €250–450. If you simply want the most hotel for the money, look at the Westin Paris – Vendôme and the Courtyard Gare de Lyon, both of which price below the Paris median for their category.
What is the cheapest Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Paris?
The Moxy hotels, typically €90–250 depending on the property and the season. Moxy Paris Bastille (€120–250) is the cheapest genuinely central option; Clamart, Val d’Europe and the CDG airport Moxy start nearer €90 but are well outside the city.
Is the Ritz Paris part of Marriott Bonvoy?
No. The Ritz Paris on Place Vendôme is independently owned and is not a Bonvoy property — it is unconnected to the Ritz-Carlton brand, which Marriott does own. There is currently no Ritz-Carlton in Paris.
Do Bonvoy points work at all these hotels?
Yes. Every hotel listed here earns and accepts Marriott Bonvoy points and elite night credit, whatever the brand. A stay at a €120 Moxy earns the same elite nights as one at a €900 Luxury Collection hotel, though it earns fewer points, since points accrue on spend.
Which Marriott hotels in Paris have a pool?
Very few Paris hotels of any brand have one. Within Bonvoy, the Renaissance Paris Vendôme and Le Roch Hotel & Spa both have indoor pools. Several others — Prince de Galles, Renaissance République — have a spa but no pool.
Is breakfast included at Marriott hotels in Paris?
Not by default. It typically costs €30–€45 per person at the upper-tier hotels. Bonvoy Platinum members and above receive complimentary breakfast at most European properties, which is one of the strongest arguments for holding status before a Paris trip.
How much is the tourist tax at a Paris Marriott?
In 2026, €11.70 per person per night in a 5-star hotel, €8.45 in a 4-star and €5.53 in a 3-star such as Moxy. It includes the departmental, regional and Île-de-France Mobilités surcharges, is charged on top of the room rate, and is paid at the hotel. Under-18s are exempt.
