A nice touch: step out at midnight
The organisers let guests go out and come back in, so you can head out to catch the city’s New Year atmosphere and return to the party. Note that the Eiffel Tower is a fair distance from Châtelet, and there are no fireworks from the tower on December 31: the official show takes place at the Arc de Triomphe.
